The first Bunnings Monthly Meet for 2015 was met with wet weather that seemed to scare off the majority of participants but a select few die-hards still turned up and enjoyed themselves despite the crappy weather.
Seeing several rare and big dollar restoration and modified rides brave the stormy forecasts to make an appearance shows that dedicated and passionate enthusiasts won't let anything stop them from enjoying their toys and doing their part to rebuild our local scene.
The rotary boys were out in force this month with several tough examples in attendance, including a few that made the trip from Sydney
With the rain settling in for the evening the choice was made to head over to the undercover car park across the road where those that were keen on hanging around for a bit longer could gather comfortably in the dry, rather than huddling under the JB-HiFi loading dock
Under cover and out of the rain it was almost Fast & the Furious-spec, just without the drifting and chicks in short skirts...
A visit from Westfield security as well as the local constabulary both saw thumbs-up given for our good behaviour before we wrapped things up at about 9:30pm.
While we're admittedly disappointed that the bad weather put a splinter in what was set to be a cracker of a turnout we certainly didn't let it ruin our night.
Next month we'll come back bigger and better, hopefully with the weather on our side this time. Once again we would like to thank all that came out for the night, you're all champions!!

See you at the next meet/cruise!
