Organised each year by a close-knit group of local enthusiasts, the annual Tough Street Harry's cruise sees some of the regions coolest rides come out to play, cruising to the popular Harry's Cafe End Of Month Meet in Liverpool.
This year's cruise was highly-anticipated by everyone involved, including us and although down on numbers due to less than ideal weather forecasts, it was every bit as fun as years prior.
After meeting up at the usual spot in Warrawong the group fueled up, stocked up on snacks for the ride and confirmed the cruise route before heading north.
In previous years we've cruised up with the group all driving our own car but this year with our shooter Jason's Corolla off the road it gave us the opportunity to snap some driving shots during the trip, riding shot-gun in Steve's RX2 coupe.
As always we took the cruise up to Liverpool nice and easy, the group which was a bit of a mixed bag getting a heap of attention from other motorists. Despite being surrounded by some serious muscle, Ben's turbo'd rat rod bug certainly held its own in the cool factor and saw plenty of people slowing down on the way to get a good look.
Joe Tanti left his blown V8 VW Beetle at home this time, instead choosing to ride shot-gun in his wife Samantha's tough XY. Samantha told us she thoroughly enjoyed the drive and so did Joe who was able to sneak in a few cold beverages in the passenger seat
Tagging along in her tough-as-nails XD with her son, Lauren joined Samantha showing the girls can mix it up with the boys and cruise with the best of them. Look out for a upcoming feature on this car soon.
Joe's stunning blown 'Stang was a menacing sight on the road and sounded just a tough as it looked. Sleek deep blue paint, plenty of polished alloy and chrome work, it's an awesome looking car!
Lync from Retro Tyres managed to get both of his cars out for the night While Lync himself cruised along with his dad and son in his supercharged EH wagon seen at the top of the page, his good mate Alex took over driving duties of the RETROS Chevy truck.
Arriving nice and early for the meet the group was able to score some of the best spots for the night.
Being the first time these two cars had been to a Harry's meet, we let Lync and Alex park up in what we consider to be the best seat in the house.
While things started pretty slowly due to the occasional shower coming through there was still a nice variety of cars driving through and parking up
Like out own Monthly Meets, the Harry's EOMM also attracts a great variety of makes and models, from every scene you could think of.
It was great to see so many enthusiasts making the effort to bring out their pride n joys out for the night despite the crappy weather.
Some were certainly braver than others...
Overall as always we had an awesome night out including the cruise back in the wet. Driven not hidden is something we preach and the boys and girls of the IMCC proved it once again this month.
