The much-anticipated release of the very first edition of Killer Rides DVD has finally arrived and with loads of cool features in the lineup, including a pair of tough local cars we wasted no time getting our hands on a copy to check out for ourselves.
Produced by well know local enthusiast Paul Beck and his team, Killer Rides DVD brings static magazine-style performance motoring features to life, allowing viewers to see and hear these wicked machines in action whilst also getting the stories behind the cars from the owners and builders themselves.
As we mentioned earlier, this first edition DVD features two very tough local rides, those being Craig Lewis'soon-to-be 7-second Radial Cortina and Rob Bosilkovski's tough-as-nails Capri.
Both of these cars are unique on their own with very different stories behind them and it's great to be able to hear the intricate details on exactly how they came to be, something that is at times hard to relay in text form without presenting readers with an essay a few pages long. That's one of the many benefits of video features.
Of course one of the other awesome advantages over static photo feature stories is the sound...
While a talented photojournalist is able to convey a certain amount of toughness, speed and action to the reader, it's hard to compare it to even the simplest footage of a Killer Ride doing what it does best...In the case of this tidy LC Torana, that's blazing tyres.
And there's always plenty of that going on in the event coverage that's also included in the DVD. Tyre smoke, blower whine and flames galore are included throughout this first edition DVD with features on the Just Car Burnouts Unleashed event and much more.
Killer Rides DVD is a Bi-Monthly deal priced at just $15 including delivery anywhere in Australia, making it exceptional value for money. Available as single issues or on a yearly subscription (6 Episodes) for just $80, to place your order get in touch with Paul either via the Killer Rides Facebook Page HERE or the website www.killerrides.com.au
